I started in the fitness industry in November of 2000. Personal training became important to me from my experience with a personal trainer and a healthy
fascination with the human Physiology and Kinesiology.
While training in the Marine Corps, I suffered a horrible accident that essentially ended my Marine Corps career. Not my first
choice of an end to my service for this country, but all the same it set in motion the events that lead to who I am today.
After sustaining a broken neck, I was assigned to 52
Area Fitness Center on Camp Pendleton. It was there I met a trainer who helped me through my recovery in 4 months. I have full range of motion and very little lasting side effects.
My name is Lee Lamb, and Ive made a choice to help others as I was once helped by Private Personal Training. I attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) for the intensive
personal training program to obtain my certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), which is one of the largest, most trusted names in personal training. Shortly after obtaining
the ACE certification, I was given the opportunity to further my education through the Aerobic & Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
With all this knowledge I was still interested and hungry for another challenge. So I decided to become a Proctor for the Scirion Institute of Exercise Physiology so I could teach and certify
personal trainers. All this time, I remained an active trainer, gaining experience through hands on training. I have attended workshops and taken tests in order to keep my mind fresh and
always learn the latest and greatest in training techniques.
I moved from Oceanside California to Oklahoma in 2006. I worked full time as a trainer during my time in California and continued to do so as soon as I arrived in Jenks. My first job in
Oklahoma was for a company that trained out of a small gym in Jenks. It was a start to get my first taste of the Tulsa fitness market.
As a father, I am always looking for something better for daughter. So when I came across an opportunity to manage a private personal training facility in South Tulsa I jumped at it.
As a trainer working for someone else, this was a huge leap and a great opportunity to get to know more of the people around the area. I had clients from Haskell, Broken Arrow,
Claremore, Collinsville, Owasso, Jenks, Bixby, Sapulpa, and even as far away as Mounds Oklahoma, all finding out about me through friends and family. I created a loyal following
of clients who all have received great service and results. These clients helped me move past just being a personal trainer for someone else and into the owner of LifeStylz Fitness,
a Private Personal Training Facility at 71st and Sheridan in Tulsa.
With the rough economy, LifeStylz Fitness suffered hard but didn't fail. I made the final decision in September 2010 to move the studio into a more private setting and expand
to offer in home training. This opened many doors and Oklahoma Trainer was born. With the lower overhead I decided to expand and hire other trainers with skill sets to match the
specific client goals. This way the trainers matched the clients needs and could even train them in the comfort of their own homes.
We have trained from the young to the old, the unfit to pro athletes. Simple weight loss, toning, and muscle growth are just a few of the goals Oklahoma Trainer deals with on a daily basis.
We are proficient in many different aspects of personal training and design programs based around each individual. This is accomplished by identifying postural instabilities and addressing
those issues all while moving forward to the clients overall goal.
So if you are looking to lose weight, get stronger, relieve back pain, or climb over a plateau in your current fitness program, this may just be the option you have been looking for.
Being a former Marine, I understand negative reinforcement and positive motivation. By learning each clients individual mind-set, I am able to motivate and direct them to
their own personal, achievable goal.
The first step is always the hardest to take, but I assure you that once you do, you wont regret it. During your initial consultation, we will address your goals, medical issues,
and any questions you have for me. I always make it easy for you to make a decision, no pressure. Just the facts.
